brainiac

so i went to acrylic for this one. i've been using more acrylic on the latest ones and making them less detailed, but much bigger. my prof. wants me to fill a whole wall, so we'll see, i've got ten days left.

anyway, i hated this one so much because it used to have green everywhere so i had to obliterate most of it with blue which shows up really dark on here.

okay this here is one more rorschach series painting. i worked a while on this gettting a lot of small details using gel pen, colored pencil, and cra pas.

middlesex

i designed a book cover for jeffery eugenides' "middlesex." it's a phenomenal epic about a hermaphrodite finding his way. he also wrote "the virgin suicides." (the book is far more engrossing than the film)

for this, i did a little photo shoot in the bedroom with a cut-out man and cut-out woman. i combined two photos giving the man a woman's shadow. played around with the color to make the ugly green bedspread into a an ocean.

one of my proudest moments in graphic design or any class.
