Infested

i did this painting over the summer. i had just killed a bunch of insects, won't get into the details, but it scarred my visual memory for a while, not to mention my psyche. the painting however, i find less disgusting. a few bragging rights, i showed it to my former sculpture teacher and she said, "no wonder your painting teacher wants you go to to grad school"

Rorschach cowboys

i've started a painting series using the Rorschach inkblot method as a visual/psychological base. after reading, "what's wrong with the rorschach" i found out that this test is the second most popular psychological evaluation used today (in the u.s.a. anyways) results can be used in custody cases among other things. yet the results vary so widely that an adjusted person may come out seeming like a narcissitic sociopath. i'll go in to that later.

anyways, i started using the same inkblot i created to make several other paintings.
